1. MENU → (Camera Settings) → [Lock-on AF] → desired setting.
Menu item details
Off:
Does not track a subject to be focused on.
On:
Tracks a subject to be focused on.
On (Start w/shutter):
Tracks a subject to be focused on when the shutter button is pressed halfway.
Note
You can set [On (Start w/shutter)] only when [Continuous AF] is selected for [Focus Mode].
