3 Choose a shutter speed.
While the exposure meters are on, rotate the
main command dial to choose a shutter
speed of Bulb (A) or Time (%).
4 Open the shutter.
Bulb: After focusing, press the shutter-release button on the camera or optional
WR-1, WR-T10, or MC-DC2 all the way down.
Keep the shutter-release button
pressed until the exposure is complete.
Time: Press the shutter-release button on the camera or optional remote control,
remote cord, or wireless remote controller all the way down.
If the exposure is
started by pressing the shutter-release button on the optional ML-L3 remote
control, pictures are taken in “Time” (%) mode even when “Bulb” (A) is
selected for shutter speed.
5 Close the shutter.
Bulb: Take your finger off the shutter-release button.
Time: Repeat the operation performed in Step 4.
Shooting ends automatically
after thirty minutes.
